Planning permission granted

On Monday 19 July, the Planning Committee at Bedford Borough Council voted unanimously to approve our proposals for 390 new homes in Bromham.

Beauchamp Park is a central part of the Bromham Neighbourhood Plan. The decision follows more than three years of working with the parish, Neighbourhood Plan Group and community in Bromham to review and refine our proposals. Our scheme includes:

• New homes;
• A new village green;
• Natural play spaces;
• A multipurpose games area;
• Sports pitches and changing rooms.

The development is split into four different but complementary design character areas to reflect the different parts of the site. Our scheme reflects the existing village with a focus on two-storey properties and with no three-storey homes.

Over the next months we will be working with Bedford Borough Council to finalise the legal elements of the application. In the meantime, we will continue to work with the Parish Council to ensure that what we deliver will enhance the village and support the existing community in Bromham.
